The ice rink returns to Calverley Grounds this winter as Icescape Tunbridge Wells.

Whether it’s an annual family tradition or your first time on the ice, enjoy real ice skating in the heart of Tunbridge Wells, with sessions for different ages and abilities throughout the festive season.

And keep an eye out for Pippen the Penguin, who’ll be making appearances throughout the season.

Sessions

Entry to Calverley Grounds is FREE to spectate. Skating sessions are 45 minutes long, and we recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before your session during peak times. Save with our online Saver ticket prices when you book at least one day in advance, with no booking fees. Sessions do sell out, so book early to secure your spot.

Free Skate Hire

Skate Hire is included for FREE with your session ticket.

We recommend you at least 20 minutes before your session start time, to ensure your skates are fitted correctly and you enjoy your full allotted time on the ice.

Skate Aids

We have a limited number of Skate Aids to hire for £5 each. These are for children under 1.4m tall and are available to hire on a first come, first served basis from the Box Office on the day. For accessibility requirements, please check our accessibility information.

Ice Safety

Your safety on the ice is our top priority. We have skate marshals on the ice during each session, as well as a dedicated medic and first aid room, to ensure the safety and welfare of all skaters. Please follow the onsite Do’s and Don’ts and, most importantly, enjoy your time on the ice!

Real Ice, Real Memories

Calverley Grounds has been home to Tunbridge Wells’ seasonal ice rink for around 15 years, and this winter the tradition continues with Icescape Tunbridge Wells.
